Men’s Retreat on Motorcycles in India - Last Edition

Ride across the Himalayas: A journey where adventure meets brotherhood and transformation.

Join the last edition of this epic 18-day men’s motorcycle retreat through the Indian Himalayas, blending raw adventure with deep inner work. Ride an Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 to Umling La, the world’s highest motorable pass, and discover a rare balance of purpose, freedom, and grounded presence. This is not a tour. It’s a spiritual adventure for men ready to ride higher and return home to themselves.

BEYOND THE ROAD LIES THE REAL JOURNEY

There comes a point in a man’s life when success, achievement, and comfort are no longer enough. When the call for something real and raw echoes from deeper inside. This retreat is that call answered. Over 18 days, you’ll ride across the Himalayas, climb to the world’s highest pass, and dive into the kind of inner silence that few men ever touch. This isn’t a tour. It’s an initiation.

Why Men Choose This Retreat

It’s not just another motorcycle tour: It’s a journey of inner and outer transformation.

We ride through the Himalayas, while exploring what truly matters: within. This is for the man who’s achieved much, yet senses there’s more to discover, within and beyond. He’s not running away from life or himself: he’s riding toward what’s authentic.

  • ADVENTURE WITH PURPOSE - Challenge your limits while reconnecting to your inner compass.

  • SILENCE AND SPACE - In the Himalayas, there’s nowhere to hide. And no need to. You can reclaim your own space.

  • CONNECTION WITHOUT MASKS - Ride, share, and grow with men walking the same path.

  • INNER AND OUTER JOURNEY - Morning yoga, meditation, and men’s circles to ground every mile.

  • You’re done with surface-level travel and small talk.

  • You’re ready to face yourself and grow.

“This was a fabulous journey in so many respects. Challenging physically with the altitude and some challenging conditions on the road. But it was conducted in the company of a very thoughtful and supportive group of men with some time and space for self reflection all lead most ably by our facilitator and supported by a great team of mechanics/fixers all with a great sense of humour. I’m so glad I completed this trip which has made memories for life..”

“An amazing, unforgettable adventure and a life enriching experience. The riding was sometimes challenging but not too difficult for a relatively inexperienced rider like myself. The sharing practice was new to me and and it added much more to the whole experience than I had expected..”

What Makes the Last Edition Special

This year’s final route goes further off-road, across gravel, riverbeds, and remote passes. We’ll ascend to Umling La (19,024 ft), the highest motorable pass in the world, a summit outside that mirrors the one inside.

  • MORE OFF-ROAD – technical, scenic, and meditation in motion.

  • REFINED MEN’S WORK JOURNEY – deeper practices, deeper inner work.

  • SILENT DAY AND INTEGRATION – shift from doing to being.

  • UPGRADED ROYAL ENFIELD HIMALAYAN 450 – more fun and power for rugged terrain.

  • A man standing next to a motorcycle on a dirt road in a vast, arid landscape with mountains in the background under a blue sky with scattered clouds.

    RIDE

Carve through Himalayan valleys, cross rivers, and navigate high mountain passes with the steady hum of a Royal Enfield Himalayan beneath you. Every curve is a lesson in presence.

  • A group of nine men participating in an outdoor meditation session, sitting cross-legged on colorful mats on a red rug, amidst lush green foliage and blooming flowers.

    PRACTICE

Mornings begin with yoga and meditation, tuning body and mind for altitude, clarity, and presence. Evenings anchor with men’s circles and inner work.

  • Group of people gathered around a campfire at night, some holding mugs, with a stone structure in the background.

    CONNECT

Daily circles bring men together to speak truth, share challenges, and be witnessed, without performance or pretense.

  • A group of seven men sitting in a circle on chairs in a room with wooden floors and large windows, engaged in a meditation or discussion session.

    INTEGRATE

Guided reflections and simple rituals help you carry what you’ve found back home. The road may end, but the journey doesn’t.

“This experience was very unique and especially valuable because it combined together: • The excitement and adventure of motorcycling in the Indian Himalayas, which was incredible in its own right • Learning new skills associated with the morning yoga sessions which can provide lifelong benefits • Experiencing spiritual elements through yoga and the monastery visits which added perspective and connection • Soul searching through journaling and the men's circles which brought insights and inspiration • Developing deep connections with the other participants which only was possible because of all of the shared experiences listed above.

The only downside is that now I am kind of spoiled as I contemplate future adventures which are likely to be more one-dimensional and less fully enriching.”

“This retreat far exceeded my expectations. Gonçalo has an incredible ability to allow you to be extremely vulnerable while maintaining your masculinity. The practices I learned during this retreat have been easily transferred into my daily life and allowed me to manage my mental well-being efficiently and more effectively. I am extremely grateful and thankful to the team and would highly encourage all men to take the step of self development with Gonçalo and take control of their masculinity in a healthy way.”

“I decided to come on this journey as a gift to myself as I turn 50, and I am eternally grateful that I did. I have been doing men's work for the last few years, and have always had a passion for motorcycle touring, so Inner Outer Journeys felt like the perfect mix of adventure and personal growth for me. Having a group of brothers sharing the same ethos, and being open to the challenges of inner and outer exploration, made for profound and enriching experiences every day that we were together. I can't recommend this trip highly enough.”
